Enumclaw, WA. 7:30 a.m. Amyas and I drove to Enumclaw Starbucks, parked and then ran a route from there to Mt. Peak. We ran on some back roads but eventually found the mountain. It was only about 2 miles awa from Starbucks. June passed us in her vehicle on the way to Mt Peak. She was not up for a run this morning because she stayed up too late. It was tiring for some reason to run to the Mt. I think I was just too tired from everything going on. Then we met up at base of mountain: June, Mishel, Denise (new runner), and Anna came later. It was a very steep climb. We hiked most of the way but ran some areas on top and down to the look out area. What a hike and beautiful view! It was so beautiful in the trees! The weather was just amazing! So bright and sunny! Great run! Amyas did very well on the run and hike.

So how long / how far did you hike to? Do you have good pictures? I want to see!

I think the hike was just about 2 miles around trip. It was definetly a good work out though because I was really feeling it the next day! I took one or 2 small pics from my cell phone at the top but they don't do it justice. I think you and Lisa outta come do the hike with me and see for yourself! :)
