Paradise, CA. PHS. We ran about 3 miles however my gps didn't start to calculate until later. Dad and I did a run from our home to PHS, 2 miles on track and then back home. Dad and I were both very tired; his ankle was bothering him and I didn't get enough sleep. There was just too much on my mind with everything coming up.It was nice to get out and run though before our long drive. It is always nice running on a rubberized track and also familiar area!

Auburn, WA. Our home. Dad and I ran about 6:00 a.m. from our home, across pathway to BV, L on Lemon tree and up that neighborhood. Dad was acutally having some ankle pain again so he started out walking but then caught up to me when I got to Lemon tree neighborhood. We ran together on Orchard and up toward the horses then we turned around. I just wanted to show him the barn and also pathway that I go running with the ladies. He felt okay later when running back. He feels he just needs to get warmed up first then he is good to go. Nice weather.

Enumclaw, WA. 7:30 a.m. Amyas and I drove to Enumclaw Starbucks, parked and then ran a route from there to Mt. Peak. We ran on some back roads but eventually found the mountain. It was only about 2 miles awa from Starbucks. June passed us in her vehicle on the way to Mt Peak. She was not up for a run this morning because she stayed up too late. It was tiring for some reason to run to the Mt. I think I was just too tired from everything going on. Then we met up at base of mountain: June, Mishel, Denise (new runner), and Anna came later. It was a very steep climb. We hiked most of the way but ran some areas on top and down to the look out area. What a hike and beautiful view! It was so beautiful in the trees! The weather was just amazing! So bright and sunny! Great run! Amyas did very well on the run and hike.

Sheri's home. 8:00 a.m. Sabbath hike/run. Dad, Amyas, and I followed Mishel and her husband Jeff to Sheri's home. We ran with Sheri from her home down on a trail to the Green River. Beautiful sunny day again! The trail just went down and was a wide as a horse trail. The river was beautiful but gradually errodes away due to all the water. We ran back up the road but it was so tough because it was all up hill. I couldn't quite run the whole way up, so tired. We walked and talked a lot. When we got to the top dad and Amyas decided to go home but the rest of us did one more route down to the river but walked the way back up. I only timed areas where I was running and I forgot to start my watch part of the way down on the first route. It was a nice run/hike.
